Swamp King was a series of Ferengi holodramas, featuring actor Flynk as the eponymous Swamp King. The first of these dramas was Privateer of the Swampways, for which Flynk was awarded a Golden Lobe. One of the last Swamp King productions, Swamp King at Sunset, featured Gormie Gormatop in one of his earliest acting roles, as a cabin boy.

The Swamp King series was responsible for popularizing the phrase "Never ask when you can take!" which later became the 52nd Rule of Acquisition. (DS9 reference: Legends of the Ferengi)
