Shroud of the Sword.
A group of Vulcan explorers found the remains of a Hur'q settlement in the Gamma Quadrant in 2372. They also found the Shroud of the Sword which Kor, a former ambassador to Vulcan, persuaded them to give it to him. He later told Worf and Jadzia Dax of his discovery, who determined that the Shroud was genuine. Worf, Dax and Kor later decided to beam the Sword into space for others to find, believing to return the Sword now would tear the Klingon Empire apart. (DS9 episode: "The Sword of Kahless")
In 2374, Omega Squad member Pava Ek'Noor sh'Aqabaa placed a rumor about the Sword in order to draw out the Klingon Empire's First Cadre. She did this to trick one member of the group specifically which was Kovold as she sought to kill him as revenge for what he did to one of her team mates. (SA comic: "MangHom qaD")
In 2376, Toral claimed to have found the Sword and planned to use it to unite the Empire under his banner but in order to protect his deception he planned to kill Worf. He failed and Worf recovered the Sword and gave it to Martok who used it to defeat Toral's rebellion. (ST video game: Armada)
