The Syclarian were a race known to the Federation in the mid 24th century.

In 2376 while investigating an incident on BorSitu Minor, Dr. Bartholomew Faulwell translated of the journal of V'reet D't Madl'r, a Syclarian scientist. In light of that work, he was asked by the Sato Linguistics Institute to write a paper on the Syclarian language for their journal (after their request had been rejected by a Syclarian linguist).
