System Loski was a star system within the Klingon Empire, close to the border with the United Federation of Planets.
History and specifics[]
It consisted of three planets and a dozen moons. It was named after its military governor, Admiral Loski.
In the early days of the Empire's war with the Federation, a series of military misadventures and other circumstances resulted in System Loski being cut off from Qo'noS and the rest of the Empire. Contact was reestablished circa 2269. By that time, Admiral Loski had become a renegade, and launched a brief civil war. Within a matter of months, the Klingon Defense Force had prevailed, and a new governor was presumably installed. (TNG - Strange New Worlds II short story: "I Am Klingon")
- The story implies that System Loski was renamed after the admiral's condemnation, but a new name is not given.
