In 2267, T'Lehr was serving aboard the USS Defiant as helmsman when it encountered the cloaked IKS Kretoq. She was ordered by Captain Blair to pursue the expected course of the unknown vessel, a chase which turned out to be fruitless. (ST novella: The First Peer)
