T'Noy was a 23rd century Vulcan woman, a Starfleet officer who served as the commanding officer of the Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Intrepid in 2269.

Biography[]

Captain T'Noy had a calm and relaxed command style.

In 2269, T'Noy was in command when Intrepid participated in The Great Starship Race. During briefings about the added participation of the Stormbird-class ChR Red Talon in the race, T'Noy advised fellow starship CO contestants James T. Kirk and Kenneth Dodge to be alert for over-reactions from civilian racing vessels who might misinterpret Romulan maneuvers.

At one point during the race, when Intrepid changed course, at least six other racers followed, believing T'Noy's crew had gotten a clearer signal than they had from the race course's next navigational beacon. During the race's closing ceremonies on Gullrey, T'Noy and other members of her crew attended, wearing sashes of honor.

In the aftermath of the race, T'Noy took charge of transferring Romulan Commander Valdus back to Starfleet Command for trial on several charges, including conspiracy to commit mass murder. (TOS novel: The Great Starship Race)
