T'Nuri was a 23rd century Vulcan female who served as the Federation Councillor from the Confederacy of Vulcan in 2260s and 2270s.
History[]
As of 2270, T'Nuri was the Chair of the Federation Science Council Subcommittee.
In that year, legislation began to take shape and temporal research would be strictly regulated by the Science Council, whereas enforcement of laws concerning temporal matters fell under the purview of Science Council Institutes in the form of the Federation Department of Temporal Investigations. T'Nuri persuasively argued this was fundamentally a scientific matter that fell to the Science Council and its institutions since they were they best equipped to cope with such matters, winning out against Councillor Zhimen ch'Rhettel of Andor who pushed for oversight by the Federation Intelligence Council or Starfleet.
In March, 2275, T'Nuri along with DTI Director Meijan Grey was transported to the Vedala planetoid confined in the same box as Rear Admiral Antonio Delgado. T'Nuri was to serve as a witness along with Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock and allowed to question both Delgado and Grey. She wasn't surprised, based from a briefing by Spock, when Grey and Delgado claimed responsibility for trying to manipulate time for personal gain and attempting to steal the confluence drive from the Vedala people. Though legal proceedings would have to continue back on Earth, T'Nuri pondered having to speak with Federation President Chab jav Lorg of having to keep the whole matter a secret but concluded that both Grey and Delgado would have to resign their positions, though not simultaneously since that would raise questions. She decided one of them would be transferred for a time to a position of no responsibility and closely monitored, and that the DTI and Starfleet Science Operations would undergo a detailed audit.
