T'Rillan was a planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in orbit of the T'Rill star system, at coordinates 3.26N 4.05E.
History and specifics[]
In the 23rd century, T'Rillan was home to a Vulcan agricultural colony. By reference stardate 2/2306.01, the world had a population of 12.2 billion individuals, mostly Vulcan, and the government was a full-status colonial member of the Federation. (FASA RPG module: The Federation)
It was located within the Organian Treaty Zone in the Twilight Nebula sector, within a parsec of the Twilight Nebula and unclaimed space. It had a long growing season and mild climate. The sect which founded the colony revered a legendary Vulcan, T'Rillan, eschewing technology to attain a oneness with nature. Its primary spaceport was described as rich, but crude. The world's coordinates from The Federation would place it in treaty boundary quadrant 2, a.k.a. Starfleet Intelligence sector 2, a region lacking a Klingon border. The later-produced sourcebook apparently retconned its position to quadrant 4/sector 4's Twilight Nebula sector for gameplay.
