For the mirror universe counterpart, see T'Lara (mirror).

T'Lara was a Vulcan woman in Starfleet in the 23rd and 24th centuries. She was born sometime before the year 2255.

Biography[]

As of the year 2282, she held the rank of Ensign, and was assigned as helmsman of the USS Enterprise under Captain Spock. (TOS eBook: The Darkness Drops Again)

Around the turn of the 24th century, Captain T'Lara joined the Starfleet JAG. In 2355, she served on as defense counsel for Captain Jean-Luc Picard in his court martial at Starbase 32 for charges stemming from the loss of the USS Stargazer. (TNG novel: The Buried Age)

By 2372, T'Lara had reached the rank of Admiral. In that year, she presided over an extradition hearing, to determine if Lieutenant Commander Worf would be turned over to the Klingon Empire for allegedly firing on an unarmed civilian transport. (DS9 episode: "Rules of Engagement")

In 2381, Alynna Nechayev told Edward Jellico that he could delegate to T'Lara his dealings with the Federation Council as part of his role of Commander in chief. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)

T'Lara retired several weeks later and became a consultant to the T'Shiro Cultural Exchange. In February of 2381, she appeared as a panelist on Illuminating the City of Light to discuss the aftermath of the recent Borg Invasion. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny)
