Takanarra II was a planet located in the region of space known as The Triangle. It was also the site of an Earth colony whose inhabitants sought to isolate themselves from the rest of humanity.
The solitude of the colonists was disturbed when a Klingon landing party visited the planet. Fortunately for the colonists, the planet lacked substantial metals and what few crops could be grown were not much beyond what was needed by its residents. It was these very qualities which had attracted the colonists to this planet and which kept them in relative peace. (ST module: The Triangle)
