Takarian mead

Takarian mead was a type of alcoholic beverage, a variety of mead that was available to be served at Quark's establishment on Deep Space 9's Promenade. (ST reference: Star Trek Cookbook)

In an alternate timeline in which Benjamin Sisko was displaced in time, Quark ordered Nog to bring five kegs of Takarian mead from the storeroom to the bar. (DS9 episode: "The Visitor")

The use of the term "Takarian" presumably denote a civilization or location that originates this beverage, but likely not the Takarians from "False Profits".
