Tal'Aura in 2379.

Tal'Aura was a Romulan senator who served on the Imperial Romulan Senate in the 2370s. In 2379, Tal'Aura supported Shinzon of Remus' plans to free the slaves of Remus. After Praetor Hiren rejected Shinzon's demands, Tal'Aura planted a thalaron radiation projector in the Senate Halls and left the building just before the entire senate was killed. (TNG movie: Star Trek Nemesis).

Following the death of Shinzon a few weeks later, Tal'Aura was proclaimed Praetor as she was the only member of the Senate left alive. This move was not supported by a large proportion of the military, who planned a coup d'etat against Tal'Aura. (TTN novel: Taking Wing).
