i'm pretty sure the RPG didn't use the Chronology dating system. did we just make up the date of 2300, or is there some conversion at work here? -- Captain M.K.B. 13:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

I'll verify that FASA didn't use the Chronology dates (they didn't even exist when FASA had the license), they used Reference stardates, a modification of the SFC system. It's items like this that were part of the reason I spent time developing the SFC pages: the 2300 date is probably (but I don't know for sure) taken from one of the "kitchen sink" timeline makers (the guys who include everything from FASA, Star Fleet Battles, Fanon, etc.). If we note the actual dates given here and give our own possible adaptations, we'll know where the number comes from. Fortunately, the Intelligence book noted is one of the ones I recently unearthed from a trip to my parents' attic, so I'll see if I can find the reference stardate and other relevant information.--Emperorkalan 14:31, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
