The introduction at the top of this page indicates that Evek committed suicide in 2371 but later in the page it says that he still alive on Cardassia after the Dominion war which would be at least 2375. What is the source for the claim about his suicide? Jdvelasc 08:34, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Anyone have an answer? -- Tough Little Ship 22:04, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
My memory's a bit sketchy, but I think this may have been mentioned (or featured) in the Voyager section of The Badlands novels by Susan Wright. Could be wrong though? --The Doctor 23:20, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Looking at the original version of the article, it does seem the cite to The Badlands further down was meant to include the suicide info. However, I definitely think the suicide reference should be removed from the top of the article, and included (if anywhere) within the chronology of the article, after his "Caretaker" appearance, and with the note of its contradiction in A Stitch in Time. --Seventy 03:44, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
