Cartography Andoria

Andoria in Stellar Cartography

Stellar Cartography includes a database entry on Andoria, identifying it as moon of the class-J gas giant Andor, eighth planet in the Procyon system. Thus, references to Andor as Andorian homeworld could be seen as colloquial use. Are we ready to split the article into Andoria (Andor's moon and Andorian homeworld) and Andor (the gas giant)? Kind regards, -- Markonian 18:24, February 2, 2018 (UTC)

Andor's population in 2376 was under 90 million. Andor's population in 2385 was 1.8 billion. 20 children born for each adult (or 40 children for each pair of adults, or 80 children for each quad of adults) in a nine year period? Is this correct? Seems like it must be a typo or information from conflicting sources. 205.250.4.27 10:08, June 28, 2020 (UTC)

I think the 90 million is from the DS9 Relaunch novels and the 1.8 billion is from the Stellar Cartography book. Unfortunately, Memory Beta treats every source as if it's part of one big continuity, even when that makes no sense. There's been some discussion (Forum:Separating Sources, Forum:Picard/canon changes) about changing this, but these discussions never seem to go anywhere, probably because there so few active editors on Memory Beta. --NetSpiker (talk) 13:20, June 28, 2020 (UTC)
