I've broadened the scope of the term "augment" to include enhancements that are not specifically genetically based, such as those of Roga Danar and the other Angosian super-soldiers (TNG: "The Hunted"), and Zharn (TOS novel The Final Reflection). I think this will also help distinguish the term from cases of genetic manipulation that don't qualify as "augments" (TNG: "Unnatural Selection", "The Masterpiece Society"). Before things get changed around too much, any comments on this idea?--Emperorkalan 15:41, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

I'm not familiar with the cases you cited, but sounds fine to me, I'd go for keeping them clearly separated from the examples of genetic augmentation though. My only real concern is whether the cases you did cite actually used the term augment or augmentation or it's just something you've applied to it because it fits, as it is something specifically applied to the augments already covered and is established as a major use of the term in the trekverse it might sort of fog up the definition to add in things that are only loosely connected. -- 8of5 19:54, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
I understand your concern. It just seems to me that adding another category ("enhanced"?) of which capital-A Augments would be a subset would be even more clumsy. So I'd rather add a section here about non-genetic augmentation. And if it isn't working, we can just revert to today's version, eh?--Emperorkalan 22:04, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Sure, maybe make it more of a footnote though? -- 8of5 22:15, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
It's too much for just a footnote. I'll do a sandbox version somewhere first, and get comments on that, before making any changes to the main page, then.--Emperorkalan 22:54, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Well I suppose I mean more stick it at the bottom, depends what exactly you have in mind though, I'm sure you know what you're doing. -- 8of5 23:06, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

The Chrysalis Project exploded, and Khan's genetics program exploded as well. Where did the frozen embryos come from? – AT2Howell 06:04, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

From one of the places that exploded? -- Captain MKB 14:46, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Has anyone read TNG novel: Infiltrator? Were the Herans just decendants of Chrysalis children, or specifically followers of Khan? Anyone know the names af any Neyel? – AT2Howell 20:04, 2 September 2008 (UTC)
