Changed "was a city" to "is a city". Im assuming Birmingham is still around in the future.Idoliside 15:50, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
- This is a "past-to-present-tense" issue that I believe Memory Alpha might have explored in more detail. To wit, we write in past-tense because we are "pretending" we are "farther in the future" and that the majority of Star Trek's events have "already happened" -- however, some things like galaxies and planets won't be "going away" any time soon so we mightn't want to past tense them. I don't recall the specifics of the MA decision, we should look that up. -- Captain MKB 17:18, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
