Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

I don't think an external link to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen wiki is appropriate for this article. It would be like adding a link to the Rick Riordan universe version of Apollo to the Apollo article. Gilgamesh de Uruk (talk) 12:59, 25 June 2024 (UTC)

Interesting! I can see your point, but I disagree. Apollo is a common Greek mythology character, and one can Google him and easily find him in all sorts of literature without us providing links. Cavor has only appeared outside of Star Trek in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and various versions of The First Men in the Moon. If a reader is curious, then a link to a page that describes how he was "brought to life" in a different comic to me seems appropriate, interesting, and useful. (He looks more like Wells' literary Cavor in the other comic, for instance, which I didn't realize until I read that wiki page. That's what motivated me to figure out where Byrne sourced his images.) -- Meacott (talk) 16:07, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
