Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Runabouts[]

I find at hard to believe there isn’t at least a small previous entry for runabouts, but if there is I couldn't find it, apologies for any inadvertent replication. "8of5"

Removed text[]

I've removed the following runabouts as I couldn't locate any sources for them. If anyone could, it would be appreciated. --Dr. John Smith 11:34, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Those are from A Time to Kill & Heal, but I'm not sure if they were confirmed as Danube class, although their names would suggest that. Maybe David Mack has mentioned this somewhere? -- DS9 Forever 00:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Does anyone know where we could ask an author? -- DS9 Forever 14:42, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
You could try over at the TrekBBS, I believe David Mack posts on there, so you could PM him on there. --The Doctor 14:59, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Did anyone ever follow up on this? Since I'm working on inputting information from A Time to Heal right now, it would be nice to know if they're Danube class or not when I make the pages; I have to admit to not recalling any such mention in the book, but what other class of runabouts is there? --Captain Savar 02:57, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
We know that the Yellowstone-class was in development in 2372 - VGR: "Non Sequitur".. in the alternate reality it looked just like a Danube but in the prime timeline it looked different, and could easily have been in service within that decade.
Further on, there are probably a handful more that crop up over the years as per STO, o theyre all candidates whenever we have a runabout not specified to be a Danube -- captainmike •••• 17:09, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
