This article claims a station in Ships of the Line is K2, and notes this information came not from the source but the artist who created the image of an identifiable station. While this might be interesting background information I don’t believe it should be in the article proper, but do not have the other source to confirm which facts can be attributed to the other source. Additional whether in-universe or background info the claim that Meni identified the station is uncited... --8of5 16:39, September 15, 2009 (UTC)

I agree. Remove the info. The artist's comments outside of the context of the image are not recognized as an official source by Memory Beta. Only the published work of the artist is valid. Their comments or beliefs after the fact are not real Star Trek data. -- Captain MKB 17:18, August 5, 2012 (UTC)

This station's class was a predecessor to the class represented by Deep Space Station K-7. Sometime in the service career of K-2, the space cruiser Bonaventure visited this space station.[citation needed] (ST reference book: Ships of the Line)
This station was identified by Meni, the artist who created the image.
