This page has a picture of the Delta Flyer not the Delta Flyer II, someone should upload File:Delta Flyer II.jpg from Memory Alpha. So we could have the right picture for this page.--TyphussJediVader 12:38, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing it out. --8of5 17:43, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

Weaponry[]

Can anyone provide a source for the recent edit that said this craft was equipped with phase weapons instead of phaseR weapons? Considering the era, I would think the latter more likey and have therefor changed it back to "phaser" weapons. - Bell'Orso (talk) 04:00, August 16, 2017 (UTC)

In 2377, the Lokirrim Ranek noted that the Delta Flyer II was equipped with pulse phased weapons and a duranium-enforced hull when he captured the ship containing Seven of Nine and The Doctor. (VOY: "Body and Soul")
It comes from Body and Soul.--Typhuss999 (talk) 12:33, August 16, 2017 (UTC)
Bell'Orso, you might want to rewatch Body and Soul again on Netflix, Ranek referenced the weapon in the episode.--Typhuss999 (talk) 22:38, August 16, 2017 (UTC)
I did indeed just pull out my VOY DVD collection to look for that scene and you're right. Ranek does indeed say "pulse phased weapons". Which is still odd, given the timeframe, but there it is. Now, one could argue that "phaseR" itself is merely short for "phaseD energy rectification", but I'm not sure if that is enough to infer that Ranek was infact talking about "pulse phasers". For the time being, however, I will still create "pulse phased weapon" as a redirect to "pulse phaser". If anyone can fill out that topic with more substantial information, they can always change the redirect into a proper page later. - Bell'Orso (talk) 00:54, August 17, 2017 (UTC)

Ok, I guess that works for now.--Typhuss999 (talk) 01:12, August 17, 2017 (UTC)

Wouldn't phaser be a Federation language term? Maybe the Lokirrim's "pulse phased weapon" is equivalent to our generic "directed energy weapon". We never saw the DF2 fire pulse phasers, nor did any other craft aboard Voyager. Kind regards, -- Markonian 08:04, August 17, 2017 (UTC)
