The story seems to run for a year, 2374 - 2375. — DS9 Forever (talk) 16:51, 5 May 2025 (UTC)

I see your point regarding 2375. I guess it is the Breen's attack of Earth as DS9 episode: "The Changing Face of Evil" is set to take place within that year. I just took the The Star Trek Fiction Timeline as reference for the placement. But taking the corresponding episode into account, I think you are correct and the initial setting is wrong. I would therefore like to shift the story in the timeline accordingly and add a background comment regarding this point. Anyway, the story itself does only cover eleven days, at least according to the section titles. On the other hand, the story starts just 43 days after the end of DS9 episode: "Valiant". That simply contradicts with the timeline completely. Maybe the author should have put it 143 or better 243 days after the corresponding episode. That might have worked better and suits your correct opinion better. I suggest to push the story to 2375 enveloping "The Changing Face of Evil". What do you think?
