i don't really understand the circumstances of this article's division from it's previous location. there's some speculation here that doesn't match the source. -- Captain MKB 04:47, November 20, 2011 (UTC)
Basically, I created a new article, as it sounded like the Einstein in 'Before Dishonour' wasn't the USS Einstein. Firstly, USS was never mentioned, it doesn't say anything about its captain or crew being starfleet, and it actually does say that Janeway decide against comandeering a full starship. Therefore, although it may be a federation vessel, I don't see how it can be starfleet vessel, and therefore was given a different vessel as it is a different page. - The class is ambiguous - "Before Dishonor" indicated it was a small science vessel, which is why we disambiguate from the Nebula class ship. The 2380s-era Einstein is a Starfleet ship. From "Greater Than the Sum": “There is a weapon,” ch’Regda said. “The multivector nano-agent recently used by Captain Picard of Enterprise against the former U.S.S. Einstein. Not an ideal tactical weapon; it won’t let us save what’s left of Barolia." Kind regards, -- Markonian 09:36, 13 April 2022 (UTC)
