Star Trek also takes place a week after "Turnabout Intruder", the Enterprise is departing Starbase 2 following the events of the episode and returning to its mission to rendezvous with the Potemkin at Beta Aurigae. And after reading the summary for the short comic strip actually functions in a very good opposite, as Kirk in his quarters drowning his sorrows with McCoy and decides that he is tired and no longer wishes the responsibility of commanding the Enterprise.
