A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). I'd like to address a change - Farrendahl was listed, correctly as a felinoid, but the new edit now assigns her to an unnamed species - is this accurate considering she might belong to one of the dozen or so known felinoid species? -- captainmike Site-logo 14:43, January 5, 2019 (UTC)

I was just going by what little was said about her race in the article itself; "Farrendahl's kind did not claim planets, they did not colonize, they did not take territory. They only explored, and hunted, and made their homes beyond the frontiers of space." The only race that I can think of that even seems close is the Hirogen, who weren't around when the novelization was written. None of the felinoid races (that I know of or read about here) say that they don't colonize or take territory. -- Humanoid21 (talk) 17:25, January 5, 2019 (UTC)
