Is stuff like "Hidden Frontier" considered non-canon or fanon?

I ask because I found this logo for the Federation News Service (God, I love Google Image Search) from a "Hidden Frontier" screencap.

Added pic of Jake. Still waiting for word on FNS logo. Canon or fanon?

The distinction we've made between non-canon and fanon is whether it is liscensed by Paramount. Therefore, Hidden Frontier does not fall within the scope of this wiki. However, we have already blurred to line with pictures (see Min Zife and Kenneth Wescott) so I see no harm in including it as an "artist's conception" of the FNS logo, with a link back to the source.
Of course, first you should ask permission to use the logo. Fair use or not, it's still polite. --Chops 23:53, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
