If IKS B'rel is this ships original, and offical Klingon, name, do you think we should move the page to that? --8of5 21:52, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

I would say yes... though I'd be curious first to see if any other sources (like the ST III novelization) gave it a different name before saying B'rel was "official". --Seventy 22:53, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
I'll see if I can dig out the novelization (I have it, but I'm not sure exactly where it is). However, I don't recall anything to that effect, and FASA never used the name "B'rel" in any of their products and I don't think it was ever established before they lost their license. I think the first appearance may have been in the Okuda's Encyclopedia.--Emperorkalan 03:11, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm fairly certain no non-canon/license source has given the Klingon name before.
As to the location of the article, I was following a precedent set with the USS Morgan City and USS São Paulo (NCC-75633) where the ship's article ended up at the location of the ship's final, and (in all three cases) most notable name. I wasn't aware of any other situations where a ship with two names was given two articles, or of a renamed ship that was still more commonly known by its original name. For the sake of being consistent, I like the Morgan City/Sao Paulo example. -- Captain M
