Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

Her picture[]

Isn't it a bit early to use the pic from a first draft of the German Losing the Peace translation? --Defcon 15:38, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

A new version should be uploaded when the final draft is released (if there are any changes), but, for now, this is an image of Choudhury released by a CBS/Paramount licensee. --Columbia clipper 17:29, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
Actually, if the cover hasn't been published on any version of the book yet, it is not yet "released", and therefore isn't valid. -- Captain MKB 17:54, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
It was released by the licensee on their facebook page. --Columbia clipper 18:14, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
But they're explicitly saying it is only a first draft. And if you read the comments you'll see that they're working on her pic. They made this comment regarding a user mentioning that the pic doesn't really look Indian:
"@Sebastian: Das ist in der Tat eine Problematik an der wir gerade noch arbeiten. Da sind wir noch nicht so richtig glücklich. Ist ein wenig knifflig ..."
Translation: "@Sebastian: This is in fact a problem we are working on at the moment. We aren't really happy with it. It's difficult ..."
So most likely there will be a different version of her (I guess either a photoshopped version of the current pic or a different one on the final cover. --Defcon 18:25, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

I've reversed Columbia Clipper's edit, since the pic hasn't been released yet on a product, and there's actually at least one different alternative cover design with a different model for her floating around in a recently released catalog from Cross Cult. According to CC both are alternative versions, so neither of the two take precedence at the moment. --Defcon 17:26, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Has the new cover been released yet? - Nx1701g 00:06, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
