A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Brit[]

The References List includes "Brit" under "Races and Cultures", i couldn´t get to the Issue myself so I can't look it up, but in the context it seems like "Brit" refers to a british human, not a separate (Alien) Cultre. Am i wrong?--Haerangil (talk) 18:03, 2 February 2021 (UTC)

The "races and cultures" section doesn't specify "alien" - Brits (the British) are a culture, as are Scots, the Welsh, the French, etc.. Attention should probably be paid to proper redirects if an existing article doesnt use the abbreviated nomenclature or if a target article reflects a conglomeration (hypothetical target article describing Europeans as a culture or the English / British etc. -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 00:53, 3 February 2021 (UTC)
I see.Well in other articles' references this has been solved by putting the specific human culture behind Human in brackets like: human (Brit) • vulcan • ...

Would this be a possible compromise? --Haerangil (talk) 08:08, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Yes -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 21:55, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
