Still a stub ?[]

I tried expanding more on this article, now i'm wondering if the "Stub" mention still applies. -- unsigned from user:captain riggs

This is not a stub, it has been marked incomplete.
copyediting also, a lot of the previous text was grammatically insufficient, with numerous spelling errors and some false info that probably stemmed from a writer's misunderstanding of the source material.

New Landru origin?[]

Landu's origins are explained in Star Trek IDW Vol 3 (issue #7-8), it turns out that Landru was not a native computer system but actually a Starfleet creation of a mad Starfleet officer who came with the Archon. Since it happened 100 years before Nero's incursion, should the article be changed to reflect Landru's new background?

This would be its origin in the alternate reality. Its origin in the original realty is as described in the article as it stands. -- sulfur (talk) 05:02, November 20, 2012 (UTC)

yeah, but aren't they the same reality up until Nero showed up, which would have been after the Archon disappeared?

Yes, it is the same reality up until 2233. I was trying to figure out how to reconcile this. I haven't seen "The Return of the Archons", but looking at the transcript at Chakoteya.net, it appears that Kirk and crew hear the story that Landru was 6000 years and operate on that information for the rest of the episode, with no confirmation that what they are told is actually true. --Lenonn (talk) 02:59, November 23, 2012 (UTC)
There have been cases where things don't quite line up, and they never will. What should be done is present both options, like we do elsewhere with other conflicts. -- sulfur (talk) 03:06, November 23, 2012 (UTC)
I would assume that, in both realities, they were told different things. In the Prime reality, Landru is a 6000 year old native computer system and that's all they know. In the alternate reality, they're told it's a 100 year old computer system but they also find evidence that it is a Starfleet made-system. Both end the same way but in the alt reality it's revealed to be a Starfleet project. So does that mean that it always was one? Oh, dear, I've gone cross-eyed. I see a bit of a rewrite needed with a bit of ambiguity.
