Constitution-class USS Nautilus[]

Hi, does anyone know the origin/source of the USS Nautilus (Constitution-class)? It only appears in links from templates, and a quick online search does not turn up anything relevant. See the What Links Here page: https://memory-beta.fandom.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/USS_Nautilus_(Constitution_class) Kind regards, -- Markonian 00:02, 29 May 2021 (UTC)

No "USS" -- Nautilus was a Constitution class ship from the 26th century of an alternate future in TOS novel: Crossroad. The ship was from a timeline where the Consilium had subverted the Federation and had been retrofitted to serve as a yagghorth habitat, and was overgrown with infestations of plants, fungus and small animals that the yagghorth could eat. The yagghorth could enter a dream state and direct the ship using mu-specturm energy to materialize the vessel in a target location in a process that is very similar to how Stamets, Book and the tardigrade use mycelium to access the spore hub with the DASH drive on DiSCo. The yagghorth had to be paired with a telepath to navigate purposely as it was basically a wild creature with little concept of 'reality'.
There was a bit of language describing the lines being slightly different, possibly indicating Jefferies or Enterprise subclass, and the ship's original name had been long forgotten. -- captainmike •••• 00:30, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
Ah! Thank you. I read that novel and remember it's ship and plot, but honestly had forgotten the name. Thanks for clear up. Kind regards, -- Markonian 09:07, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
