A note to 83.100.235.101: in situations like this, it's best to note that there's a discrepency between two sources, not to just erase one and replace it with the other.--Emperorkalan 19:45, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- The cited source, Who's Who in Star Trek?, looks like an unauthorized fan publication. (Amazon listing. Legit or no? --70.94.229.133 00:49, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
When DC comics had the Trek license, they published a Trek handbook called "Who's Who in Star Trek". I'm not sure if the Amazon listing is for the same thing, but the date is about right.--Turtletrekker 06:44, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
What is the source for the date of birth? --8of5 17:06, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
I know that CMOs are typically commanders, but is there a source for Boyce's rank or is it assumed on that basis? -- Captain MKB 03:17, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
- I think Boyce's rank is assumed. I don't see any reference to it in Early Voyages (including sleeve insignia in the issues which use TOS ranks), nor does a Google Books search reveal any mention of his rank in the novels in which he's appeared. --Columbia clipper 04:08, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
" I've actually seen John Hoyt in an episode of "Treasury Men in Action" online called "The Losing Gamble" ln this episode he plays the role of a gambler who fixes horse races and cooks the books for income tax purposes. If this is the type of role he was normally cast in, it's no surprise he wanted to play a good guy for once. His picture in this issue isthe best depiction of a character in this miniseries l've seen.Glammazon (talk) 17:13, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
