While it has never been made clear in the main canon, is there, perhaps, an explanation in a novel for why the age at which a Vulcan first undergoes Pon farr is not, even roughly, the same for all Vulcans; Voyager's Ensign Vorick had his first Pon farr as a young man - in his 20s -while Spock didn't have his first Pon farr until his 30s/40s, and T'Pol was in her 60s before she had her first Pon farr. I mean, I'll buy that this is the case - it is foolish to assume that an alien race's sexual maturity cycle is as uniform or early as a human's, just look as the Betazoid Phase in which women do not become 'fully sexual' until late-middle-age - but I wonder if this has ever been explored in a licensed work. Additionally, I wonder if the irregular timing of the Ponn farr warrants inclusion in the article. --Corvyn (talk) 22:28, February 24, 2019 (UTC)Corvyn

A list of the timing as it has been depicted in episodes and publications can be added to this article, any further musing about it is probably out of bounds. -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 03:14, February 25, 2019 (UTC)
