Given there are at least three distinct religious interpretations of this species: Prophets, Siblings, True. Might it be more appropriate for the most generic page for the race to be Starfleet’s (and Ro Laren's) wormhole aliens, with each religious interpretation focusing purely on species role as deities? --8of5 12:24, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I'd say, by and large, they are known as the Prophets, both in-universe and to the fans who'd be looking for information on them. I mean, the Tholians are called "Devils" by the Neyel, and the Romulans indigenous name is Rihannsu, but we still use the more Federation-used, and commonly accepted names. --TimPendragon 15:56, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Ah, but the Federation refer to the prophets as the wormhole alines. A very valid point on what someone is likely to be looking for though. --8of5 20:59, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
