Timing[]

According to the stardates in the book the framing of the story takes place after First Contact which is supposed to be in late 2373, but here on MB it is listed as early 2373. The main story takes place six months before that which is suposed to be early 2373 but here on the MB timeline it is in late 2372. But almost every page that has info from Rogue is written with the 2373 date. How should I handle this? -- Briet 11:54, January 26, 2017 (UTC)

Stardates have been proven to not be reliable in a sequential manner, so i wouldnt consider it permissable to solely use them to determine placement or elapsed time in any case.
but the obvious clues for a post-First Contact setting would obviously be after the battle and time travel that took place and the loss of Hawk and others.
As to the rest of the chronology data, I'd suggest looking at the Pocket's own timeline, and accurizing ours to it unless there is an overriding concern from the novel text itself. -- Captain MKB 14:55, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
