Picture Uploads[]
All right--I keep trying to upload picture--but they keep being reverted by the editors to picture code. What am I doing wrong here?--Rush Limborg 01:40, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Pictures will be deleted if they lack a valid copyright message. You're expected to write a description and attribute where you got the picture (i.e. who owns the right to the picture's publication. -- Captain MKB 04:22, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
I've replaced the image with one from a Star Trek episode. In the future, please remember that our image copyright system is based around this being a Star Trek site -- meaning that pictures from Star Trek are always preferred to outside pictures. The next time you feel tempted to upload a non-Star Trek picture, please ask an administrator to help you find the proper page to get the image approved so we can secure an image with a usable copyright attribution. -- Captain MKB 08:56, May 5, 2010 (UTC)
