Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

Why did you restore "Makhoy" to the character list? It's just how the Klingons pronounce McCoy's name, not a separate character. Gilgamesh de Uruk (talk) 14:40, 3 September 2023 (UTC)

I started my edit before you made yours and your rudeness caused an edit conflict. don't edit articles while i'm working on them -- captainmike •••• 14:48, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
How do I know if you're working on an article? Maybe write "work in progress" in the edit summary. Gilgamesh de Uruk (talk) 15:01, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
Oh, cut the crap. It is customary on a wiki to wait at least half and hour or more after someone edits to make your own followup edit, you were definitely rude to swoop in with a conflicting change 11min after mine, while i was working through my followup edit. just admit you were in the wrong and leave the matter alone, i have no patience for bratty discourse today -- captainmike •••• 15:16, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
This is the first I've heard of this custom. Very well, I will do my best to follow it. Gilgamesh de Uruk (talk) 15:23, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
