Moved from Talk:Unnamed Sailing Vessels[]

Any reason why this couldn't be included in a general article about sailing ships themselves? --The Doctor 00:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Indeed, especially as these aren’t actually unnamed sailing vessels but rather artists renditions of unnamed sailing vessels. --8of5 17:23, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
Yet they are representations of actual vessels. Well, if we get rid of these artists renditions then we should disregard Archer's model from Broken Bow as a vessel, The model of the HMS Victory for Elementary Dear Data, the model of the USS Melbourne from Riker's ready room from Future Imperfect, and the same model from Sisko's office in various DS9 episodes. --Farragut79 00:08, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
No ones talking about getting rid of these artists renditions, we're just suggesting moving them to a general article on sailing ships, as these ships don't have names. In the examples you named, we wouldn't have an article on the USS Melbourne model, we just include that information in the article. Unless you can name the ships seen in these images, then the information would be better served in an article on sailing ships. --The Doctor 00:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Excellent, I agree with you. --Farragut79 07:10, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
Great. I'm glad someone does. --The Doctor 08:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
