A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Apologies sulfur, didn't spot the formatting you'd done to the summary. I removed the boldness in the captain's log because it looks weird... we're not a comic book n'all. --8of5 15:47, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Re: links in summary. No worries. Looks like we were working at (more or less) the same time.
Re: format in captain's log bit. The only time I put things in italics or bold like that is when the comic does too. As an aside, the planet "Delkar Seven" is named that way in the comic (rather than "Delkar VII"), so when an article gets created, that should be created as a redirect, since we all know that people search for things based on the way they're spelled in stories. :)
Finally, I'm going to summarize the "Enemies & Allies" story later today. Something I've been meaning to do for a while. Unless you've created a skeleton article for that one, I'll create that at the same time. -- sulfur 15:54, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

I think we have to be careful to think for ourselves with these sort fo things, comics books use bold (I believe) to put emphasis on words; the way we do that in text-based mediums is more usually to put that text in italics, as bolded words in the middle of a block of text stand out too much, they look wrong.

Agreed on the redirect

And I was going to start Enemies & Allies some time later or tomorrow or something, but was in no hurry (or particularly enthusiastic about it :P) so knock yourself out :) --8of5 16:56, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Was there actually a reference to the Detapa Council in the story? I missed it if there was, I just noticed the High Council of Cardassia Prime, which could be an entirely different body. --8of5 17:31, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

My impression when I read it was that the council(s) were one and the same. It's the only mention of the "High Council of Cardassia Prime" that I came across in the Malibu comics (no mention of the Detapa Council in them), but the way they were portrayed seemed to be very similar. Perhaps a logical assumption failure on my behalf. -- sulfur 17:33, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

A reasonable assumption, but unless we say, saw similar people serving on both councils, or know they meet in the same place, I think it's best to play it safe and consider they might be something different. --8of5 17:36, August 3, 2010 (UTC)
