Beneath the Skin shows a Klingon chancellor around the time of "The Trouble with Tribbles", might they be the same person as Sturka? --8of5 05:35, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Possibly. So far, Vanguard has been set in 2266, before "The Corbomite Maneuver," and "The Trouble With Tribbles" is set a year or so later, IIRC. "The Trouble With Tribbles" is set after the Organians prevented the Klingon-Federation war that was being built up to in Vanguard and in the Errand Of Vengence/Fury series; it's possible that Sturka may have been overthrown as a result of his inability to wage war on the Federation. Has Sturka appeared in the Errand Of... books? In any event, I think we might be able to tentatively assume the chancellor in "Beneath the Skin" is Sturka, so long as we clearly note in italics that this is uncomfirmed and may be contradicted in future works. -- Sci 08:09 25 MAY 2007 UTC
