Except for the quotation marks around "male" in the Information section, I have refrained from adding any comment on the issue of Andorian gender to this article or the Themon article, since it may be inappropriate to apply concepts to this story that were not introduced into the Star Trek universe until decades later. Themon, of course, is either a zhen or a shen, and the naked colonist whom McCoy restores to being Andorian is a chan or a thaan, but there is no indication of which.
