I have a picture of the USS Hood model from Encounter at Farpoint. It shows the Hood with the registry of NCC-2541. So the NCC-2541 was Riker's vessel until he transferred to the Enterprise. The first notion of NCC-42296 came in the third season when the registry was listed in a background graphic. So shall we have both Hoods or just stick to the latter registry? --Farragut79 04:58, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
