A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). subclass[]

I saw that a side view image of the Lakota/Enterprise-B subclass was added to this article. Did "Scene It?" specify that this ship is of that subclass? If not, I believe it was policy on this wiki to assume that a ship was of the base type unless specifically stated or shown otherwise. I can't find any reference to this ship's class anywhere else and don't own "Scene It?" myself, so I would appreciate if someone else could clear this up for me. - Bell'Orso (talk) 17:26, November 28, 2015 (UTC)

My mistake; ST.com uses a image of a standard Excelsior type from Favor the Bold. I've corrected the image. - DS9 Forever (talk) 23:55, November 30, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up. - Bell'Orso (talk) 13:47, December 1, 2015 (UTC)
There is a new image on there now (not my fault!) of the Enterprise B/Lakota variant. New info or a mistake? - DS9 Forever (talk)
It is supposed to be a depiction of the regular Excelsior (from the Flashback cover) but you're right, the artists made that mistake .. i chose it because it is by the same author but maybe we should find a standard Excelsior image. -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark 22:57, January 6, 2018 (UTC)
Could we get an image of an Excelsior-class ship with glowing nacelles for 24th century ships of that class? - DS9 Forever (talk) 23:50, January 6, 2018 (UTC)
