According to this entry and the USS Surak (Constitution class), it appears there were two vessels with the same name operating during the same timeframe (especially with this entry's claim about the ship's service beginning in 2248). Is it possible that the Oberth-class ship was taken out of service for a while, the Constitution-class taking the name until being taken out of service, and the Oberth-class returned to service? --Julianbaischir 20:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
- There is also the possibility they are one and the same -- in Duane's mention of the Surak, it was only referred to as 'a vessel of (Enterprise's) own class' -- which we assume here to make it a Constitution -- but perhaps she meant a 'starship class' (like Enterprise was often called) or simply a 'ship of the line' (meaning said ships were larger than smaller support vessels). -- Captain MKB 20:26, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
This Ship is definitlly NOT an Oberth class ship. When you look in the Comic Page 22 youll find a other sight of the ship an it dont match the Oberth Versusdelyxe (talk) 20:42, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
- You'd have to specify which comic you mean, the Surak was in a dozen or so different comic issues. While it was sometimes incorrectly drawn, the majority of the time it was an Oberth class vessel and we abide by that here. -- Captain MKB 22:12, March 13, 2013 (UTC)
Here is a other Picture from the ship
