Ah, what's going on here? The source only says "The colonists were almost exclusively Russian and Eastern-European peoples." Of course, it was written in 1987, prior to Ukraine gaining its independence. History's moved on, and I don't want to step on any nationalities, but I'd prefer to follow the source: there should be Russians and other eastern European people here, not just Ukrainians. It's not necessarily the case that Ukrainians are most populous either, if the planet was named prior to the colony, or by a competition or general agreement among the colonists.

I don't know if the Korda family is a Ukrainian name or not. I can only find some Hungarian and Czech Kordas via Google. -- BadCatMan 01:14, March 6, 2012 (UTC)
