A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! As always, the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Strange New Worlds and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG and Star Trek Online, as well as other eventful releases such as Section 31, the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. Therefore, please be courteous to other users who may not be aware of current developments by using the {{spoiler}}, {{spoilers}} OR {{majorspoiler}} tags when adding new information from sources less than six months old (even if it is minor info). Also, please do not include details in the summary bar when editing pages and do not anticipate making additions relating to sources not yet in release. THANK YOU

I added a tiny bit of info about Haden being captain of the Carthage in 2328. Previously, this page mentioned that he commanded Ian Troi. He also commanded Rachel Garrett (then first officer). Is this relevant here? Much more could be added from The Art of the Impossible. I haven't actually read Well of Souls but I would guess that book says something about how Garrett took command - for example, whether Haden was still Captain until 2332. --Jdvelasc 08:17, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Oops - I wasn't paying careful attention. Garrett was given command of the Enterprise in 2332. Turns out later in Art of the Impossible (which I am in the middle of reading now) Haden is still captain of the Carthage in 2343. --Jdvelasc 08:28, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Regardless of his dates of command, it seems possible he was born in the 23rd century or the 24th century so i removed 24th century from his birthdate.
also, there have been some ham-handed attempts at reformatting the article, but it seemed incorrect that Starbase 23 was his final assignment, as there's no notation of his death or retirement -- Captain MKB 20:17, September 10, 2016 (UTC)
