A friendly reminder regarding spoilers! At present the expanded Trek universe is in a period of major upheaval with the continuations of Discovery and Prodigy, the advent of new eras in gaming with the Star Trek Adventures RPG, Star Trek: Infinite and Star Trek Online, as well as other post-57th Anniversary publications such as the ongoing IDW Star Trek comic and spin-off Star Trek: Defiant. I'm thumbing through info on the Aventine and I can't find reference to warp 9.99, or type XII phasers. Are these stats in this article accurate? -- Captain MKB 01:28, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

100% sure on the phasers, see Mere Mortals page 11. I don't recall the warp speed being specifically referenced (could have easily forgotten though) the best I can find is Lost Souls page 33 which mentioned they had achieved .85 past the Enterprise's top speed. --8of5 01:41, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Figures -- I can't see page 11 on the MM preview. The Lost Souls reference seems to take math and I'm not sure what all the variables are. -- Captain MKB 01:47, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
I always figured that the .85 past the Enterprise's top speed was because the Enterprise's maximum speed was reduced by two events: activating the Transphasic Shields and then the battle damage from the fights with the Borg and later the Hirogen which reduced the the speed to Warp 9.05. Dimensions=

Should I add the dimensions stated by Mark Rademaker to the infobox? Judge King 17:23, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I'd say that we should wait until they are published in some licensed capacity -- until then, they remain background info. -- Captain MKB 17:43, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Unless there is a new licensed source for these dimensions, they remain background info and do not belong in the sidebar. -- Captain MKB 19:48, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Weapons specs

Does anyone know where the new weapons specs have come from? I don't recall if Zero Sum Game might have established something, but I'm reasonably sure the previous books didn't give us the exact details on the number of weapons on the ship. --8of5 08:50, March 5, 2011 (UTC)

I'm curious also about tonights latest addition. Also, what's the source for USS Vesta, also recently added? -- Captain MKB 03:15, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

From Indistinguishable from Magic. --Farragut79 13:40, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

i thought the Vesta class weight 3,321,630 tons.--75.4.213.240 05:10, April 2, 2011 (UTC)

mass

i also though the mass was 3,321,630

And what made you think that? The specificiations in Star Trek Magazine #156, which I have in my lap as I type this, say 321,630 metric tons. --8of5 12:25, May 27, 2011 (UTC)
