I see there is a reference to Zek in The Buried Age. What year is he mentioned in and is he the Nagus then? -- DS9 Forever 22:54, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Zek was mentioned in the opening chapter of the novel which takes place in 2355, and he is mentioned as being Grand Nagus, but with no mention of how long he has held the post. --The Doctor 00:21, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

I just found this as well. According to the A Dry Day on Ferenginar article, he became Nagus in 2352. Is that his first name too? Emeritus? Could someone double check that? -- DS9 Forever 23:26, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Emeritus probably isn't his first name. That term is used to describe an important person who is retired. -- Tough Little Ship 13:04, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
