Tamieron the Tinkerer was an individual, a man who lived in the 24th century.
Tamieron owned a moon in the Gamma Meridien system. Tamieron salvaged starships from around the galaxy, which he collected on his moon and worked on at his leisure. Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge selected Tamieron the Tinkerer as the person he would most like to trade places with in the universe. (TNG comic: "The Lesson")
