Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Taraz was a 23rd century Klingon man. In the 2260s decade, he served in the Klingon Defense Force as the commander of the IKS Nizra.

Biography[]

In the year 2269, he was in pursuit of Quetzalcoatl for the genocide he (allegedly) inflicted on Hrakkour IV. The pursuit brought him to the Digifal system which alerted the Starfleet.

USS Enterprise arrived in the scene and hailed the Nizra. Captain James T. Kirk exclaimed that the Klingon ship should leave Federation space. Taraz complied but insisted that Klingon forces to monitor the situation without taking action, and demanded tha apprehension of the criminal within 12 hours. (TOS video game: 25th Anniversary mission: The Feathered Serpent)

It is possible to anger Taraz with an aggressive reply in the game. In that case, the player and the Enterprise will be attacked by three Klingon ships in an unbeatable space battle.
